Dr. Rothrock is an interventional cardiologist and founder of Prescott Cardiology, established in March 1998.
Graduating from Reed College with top honors in 1974, Dr. Rothrock went on to obtain his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1978.
From July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1982, Dr. Rothrock trained as a Lipid Metabolism & Cardiology Fellow at Oregon Health Sciences University.
In 1984 at Oregon Health Sciences University, Dr. Rothrock completed his Internal Medicine training and Cardiology training.
Dr. Rothrock is Board Certified with the National Boards, American Board of Internal Medicine, and American Board of Cardiology. He has also been named an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University teaching Interventional Cardiology.
In addition, Dr. Rothrock has completed fellowship training in Electrophysiology, becoming board eligible, and has most recently completed training in Nuclear Cardiology and Sleep Medicine.
In 2010, the International Association of Cardiologists honored Dr. Rothrock with the nomination of “Top Cardiologist in Prescott”.
Dr. Rothrock's hobbies include flying, scuba-diving, and photography. An education and learning enthusiast, he will continue to build on his extensive medical knowledge for years to come and share that knowledge with his patients.
Nancy Rothrock and her husband, Dr. Douglas Rothrock, are the co-owners and co-founders of Let’s Get Healthy 4 You. Nancy is a Certified Weight Loss Consultant and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing. She has also completed 51 credit hours toward a Nursing Degree. Nancy worked in the hospital setting for 27 years, where she assisted physicians in acute care. Seventeen of those twenty-seven years she spent working for Medtronic, where she care for patients with pacemakers and defibrillators and worked with physicians implanting these devices. Nancy also serves on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Here is Nancy’s weight loss story: “My husband was 100 pounds overweight and faced with pre-diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and sleep apnea. He was told by his doctor he needed to do something or face a shorter life expectancy. This is where I swung into action. I had heard of a program called Ideal Protein, so I made our first consultation appointments and got us started together in efforts to help my husband. I, at the time, did not think I was overweight, but I was. I lost 48 pounds on the program and I no longer have to take my blood pressure medications. I cannot believe how much better I feel and the renewed energy I have now.
I would never have guessed I could be at my high school weight again. We were so impressed with our results (both weight loss and improved health) I started a small clinic in my husband’s cardiology office to help him help his patients. The success has been overwhelming and we have helped over 2,500 patients lose their weight and taught them how they can maintain their results! I look forward every day to coming to work where I can help patients just like myself, leading them to better lifestyle habits and giving them back their youth.”
Risa is a Certified Health Coach and works with patients at our Prescott location. She has lived in Prescott for the past nine years, originally coming from Connecticut. Although most of Risa’s academic education majored in business and retail, she now has dedicated her life to Ideal Protein on-going training, education, and workshops, establishing her career in Health & Wellness.
Here is Risa’s weight loss story:
"I am a skinny fat person. For the past 10 years I struggled with ongoing weight gain. I was a yo-yo dieter and tried every fad diet out there. I had digestive issues and problems due to poor energy. My fat % was 38% due to unhealthy eating habits! In two months, I lost 20 pounds on the Ideal Protein protocol and learned to eat healthy, getting my fat % down to 19%. During the winter holidays, I gained five pounds back, so I went right back on Phase I after the New Year and took the five pounds off in two weeks. My digestive problems and low energy issues have all disappeared!
I now continue the Maintenance Phase of Ideal Protein to maintain my ideal weight and my health and vitality!
My biggest challenge on the IP program was the negativity from family and friends who thought I didn’t need to lose weight. However after seeing the change in me - both physically & mentally- I have all their support now and they can truly see the benefits of my lifestyle choices. Ideal Protein has changed my life dramatically and I see how it thoroughly impacts and improves our patient’s lives, both mentally and physically. My mother died at the young age of 56, as a result of health problems secondary to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and weight problems. Lorraine is a Certified Weight Loss Consultant and works with patients on a part-time basis at both office locations. Lorraine also works as a dental assistant. She is originally from Chicago, but has lived in Prescott since 1985, where she and her husband of 27 years have reared their two boys.
Here is Lorraine's weight loss story: “I never really had to struggle with, or worry about, my weight until after I had my two sons. Then, it seemed my weight just kept creeping up. Before I knew it, I weighed almost 200 pounds. Like most, I had tried every diet out there – from the Atkins diet to Weight Watchers, South Beach, and many others. As usual, I did not experience weight loss results that were significant or that I maintained for very long. About this time, Nancy Rothrock told me about Ideal Protein. I immediately joined the program and found the protocol was easy to follow and I was never hungry. I had more energy and was quickly losing weight, enabling me to feel like a success and even get back into my “pretty” clothes. When my friends see me now, they can’t believe how much weight I have lost and ask me what I did. Now, most of those people have joined or graduated from the program.

Dana and her husband have lived in Prescott for thirty years. After a career of fifteen years in the financial field she stayed home to raise their two children. When they were school age she volunteered for eleven years in the Elementary Art Department while taking classes at Yavapai College.
Dana’s weight loss story:
“During the years my children were in school, my best friend and I volunteered to cook for all the teacher’s school luncheons and snack bars at the baseball games. This resulted in weight gain for both of us, so we decided to go on a diet. While I lost 30 pounds my friend lost 70 pounds!
I asked my friend how she was losing all her weight. She told me she was doing the Ideal Protein protocol at Let’s Get Healthy 4 You!. She was also training to be a Health Coach and advised me to try the program as well. I thought that was a great plan and decided to look into it. Shortly after, I joined the LGH4Y team and even though I had lost some weight on my own, my fat percent was still high so I decided to do the Ideal Protein protocol. After a couple of weeks my fat percent was down and I lost a few more pounds as well! I have now been trained as a Certified Health Coach by Ideal Protein but am currently the “go to girl”, the Office Manager and take care of all the Let’s Get Healthy 4 You daily operations.
